Church Strengthening Trip
July 16-August 19
Frank and Lee Yonke will be traveling this summer to strengthen several churches in the Philippines and to encourage the Wangs in Taiwan. Please be in prayer for them during their trip.
Week of July 13 - Frank and Lee are scheduled to fly to Manila on July 16, leaving at 12:50 p.m. on American Airlines flight #153M. The detail is for those of you who like to have as much information as possible. They will change planes in Narita, Japan, and arrive in Manila at 9:55 p.m. on July 17. Frank and Lee will have dinner with the leaders of our sister churches soon after their arrival.
“For I long to see you...that I may be encouraged together while among you, each of us by the other’s faith…” Rom. 1:11-12
Week of July 20 - Frank will be preaching at Divine Grace Bible Church today! Rejoice in prayer for Frank and Lee as they experience the joy of a reunion with friends at DGBC. This week will include a Leadership Retreat for the leaders and wives of DGBC, DGBC Tarlac North (Paniqui), and Grace Evangelical Church of Mangatarem. Frank will be leading the men in a study of I Timothy and Lee will lead the women through a study of the book of Ruth.

Week of July 27 - Frank will be preaching in Mangatarem today! This week will be with pastor Bobot Alamo & his wife Girlie. Frank will be conducting a family seminar during this week at GECM. Later this week, Frank and Lee will spend time with Alvin and Elaine Lo in Dagupan City. Alvin has started several Bible studies in Dagupan with a view to planting a church there. “...through the perseverance and encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope. Now may the God who gives perseverance and encouragement grant you to be of the same mind...according to Christ Jesus” Romans 15:4-5
Week of August 3 - Frank and Lee will be in the city of Paniqui, visiting with the people of Divine Grace Bible Church - Tarlac North. Rey Villaneuva is the pastor of this new church. Frank will be preaching in Panique today. Pray for the strengthening of this church plant and the new believers who are a part of it. “Be on guard for yourselves and for all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit made you overseers, to shepherd the church which He purchased with His own blood.” Acts 20:28
Week of August 10 - Pray for Exposition Conference 2008 in Manila this week. Pray for Daryle Worley and Ray Glinski from Grace Church of DuPage, Tim Kelly from The Church of God’s Grace in Germany, and our own Jeff Johnson who will be joining Frank and five Philippino pastors to conduct a conference designed to help Manila area pastors grow in their exposition
of the Scriptures. “They read from the Book of the Law of God, making it clear and giving the meaning so that the people could understand what was being read.” Neh. 8:8
Week of August 17 - Frank and Lee will stop in Taiwan for a two and one-half day visit with Cheng and Fenny Wang.Frank will be preaching in their church, True Love Baptist Church, today! The Yonke’s will return to Chicago at 3:25 p.m. on August 19. “Thus it is written, that the Christ should suffer and rise again from the dead the third day; and that repentance for forgiveness of sins should be proclaimed in His name to all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem.” Luke 24:46-47
